I purchased appliances- dishwasher, range, fridge, microwave and hood vent from Monarch. I have had them serviced time a total of 8 times each before the 12 month manufacturers warranty expired. Now I am in my 14th month of ownership and the dishwasher died. The service tech said "all new appliances are made cheap and break. If you get 5 years out of your fridge you are lucky! This is a $2500 fridge!! Now I know why Monach insisted I buy the 5 year extended warranty.
I am very disappointed that the sales person did not disclose the poor quality of the products she sold us. I would never use Monach again.Ĭustomer service has always been poor however the company is now called Monarch appliances and frankly is dreadful. The guy on the front desk didnt so much speak but grunt a partial greeting when we entered. He was unhelpful in the extreme and they appear not to care about issues you have with appliances once they have sold them to you.We will never set foot in the store again and I advise others to go elsewhere. It was great seeing all the possibilities. Everything in the inspiring showroom was set up so nicely. They have a cool built in coffee maker and even have cooking demos. The best place, however, is the discount room in the back! Great deals to be found there. One tip: If you want to talk to a sales person, you will need an appointment. Theres no other place like this in South Florida that I know of. Really great stylish pieces from American-made brands. I telll all my friends about this place, whether or not they are renovating their homes lol.
See Ed or Mary, they will help you out! They close at 5 on the weekdays, but call them and catch them on time. If you are remodeling your apartment or a house this place is a must to see! Most high end brands are on display. Browse and compare at your pace before making decision. Contractors watch their profit points not yours! You will be spending a lot of money on appliances, its prudent to know whats available out there. However, this store is the most inefficient and most backwards place to buy appliances. A million steps just to make a small purchase. No idea how this people are still in business. It is a terrible place with very low employee morale and zero company experience anyone?Įxcellent service, staff, and pricing. It is in your best interest to work anywhere else but Monark. They don't care they are salaried and they will get paid.
NO you have to use your vacation time if you have it. You would think it was a Thank you and we will pay you for those days. Best part they decide to close the day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas. You will never get a thank you or a job well done. Upper Management and your immediate Manager only care about themselves and their bonuses. You will be poorly compensated and you will be promised reviews after 90 days and a raise but that will never happen. The Manager will defend anyone else before she defends her own employees. The back office will send abusive emails and it is almost like you do not work for the same place. The front office does not work well with the back office. You will be micromanaged and berated by your Manager on a daily basis. Management simply does not care about their employess.
